has anyone used a multivet for a training aid? i need advice on wether it is worth buying one for my german shepard cross hes 6 months old? its the remote control one im thinking about
this is to stop biting not barking
i have put 6 months of hard training but the biting hasnt stopped

They can be – but there are other ways too. Have you tried a clicker? It’s possible your dog (by the way, this is the cat section ) has abandonment issues. Try leaving it in a room on its own for a few minutes at a time, then increase the amount of time you’re out of the room.

It could be that it’s insecure – try exposure therapy (make it face the situation and reassure it that it’s ok). Your dog is most likely afraid and is defensive – it needs reassurance.

Your best bet is to contact a dog trainer/psychologist as I can’t know when it’s biting from the description you’ve given, and once you figure out when it bites, you’ll figure out why it does it, and then you can start to correct that. Best of luck. Sorry I can’t help further but I can’t help feeling there’ s another way besides the collar.
