How to make a mini video game?

hi im 14 years old and i want to be a video game designer in the future and i was wondering how to make a mini video game from just using a laptop.and if someone can put a good site for me to look at and step by process that will be great. thnx : )

You can download this program www.yoyogames.com it a free game maker. And if you get good at it and feel like you do wont a career in it you can look up a college or university that specialize in Video Game Designing and Programming.

My advise about college or university.
If you want to do it Self-Employed you don’t need a college degree.

I would just ask them what program they use then just go out and buy it (and teach myself). I went throw that (to be a Web-page Designer) when I gradated I ended up paying $1,400 for Dream Weaver a $400 Program & A piece of paper. And I have scents then throw online researching learned more then I ever learn throw the college.
