Do dogs give birth on their own? Without assistance from owner?

Ok, my dog is pregnant, how she got pregnant is a mystery since I only have one dog and a cat. She’s not on a leash and is free to roam around the neighborhood and probably that’s probably how she got knocked up. Anyway, I don’t know what to do when she starts giving birth, which is probably soon. The Vet is about 15 miles away coz I live in a remote area and I think I should know what to do if ever.. help plsease.

It really depends on the dog. Like, for example, some chihuahuas have difficulty giving birth, so the usually need a caesarean. Other than that, please get your dog neutered!!!!
