What is a good pet for a teen who loves pets?

I have a hamster but she hasn’t long left and I want a pet after her. I also have 2 bunnys. I want another small pet that is fairly easy to care for and not too expensive. I quite like the sound of chinchillas – are they a good idea??

great pet, doesnt eat much, friendly to other animals if you have other pets, you can swim with him, also a wonderful alternitive to a security system
