Does a regular ‘human’ lamp work for the light source of my Pet Red slider turtle?

Can it bask in that light?
I really dont want to waste money on some special one if i dont have too!

No, sorry. Remember, you are trying to give the turtle sunlight, as close to the light it would get straight from the good old sun as possible. Not plain aquarium or human lamps. They don’t have the right kind of light.
Turtles will feel their best when you get a good basking lamp or fixture. Sure they can get a little pricey.
My light bulbs cost about $20.00 ea., but still worth it.
