Leather Town Dog
Am I stuck here?
I’ll try to make this short. I have an 03 Accord I was pretty much given by my grandma(I paid $2000 for it, after my civic was totalled). I am truely grateful to her for her generousity, but the car is simply not practical for me. It has leather, I have three Large Dogs that I like to take to the park, petsmart, lake, etc. She always wants to know how the car is holding up, and wants to see it when she’s in town. I’m scared to get
It is really a great car and I know I’m crazy for complaining about it, but it really isn’t suited for me.
I’ve given it time and it’s not changing my mind…I feel obligated to her to keep it prestine and not sell it….but I would really benefit more from selling it and putting 10000 down on an house and buying a 5000 car. Should I shut up and keep the car, or how could I tell her?

I liked the shut up and keep the car idea.
But if you really want another car you should tell your grandmother and let her buy it back from you for the 2k that you paid for it. Then you take your own hard earned money and buy you the care that “suites” you.
You never know … she may help you get a car you like better. She seems to be a good lady. But it is only fair that you tell her.
