Where to get undyed leather dog collar?
Hi! I’m looking for a natural leather collar for my dog. The collar she has now is pink dyed leather and I notice that the dye gets on her fur when the collar gets wet, which I think is irritating her skin. I prefer a leather Buckle Collar because she has had a Nylon Adjustable collar and it gets too loose if she pulls on the leash. So if anyone has any suggestions for where I can find an untreated leather collar (also free of tanning chemicals, etc.) I would appreciate it!

IN the first place you mentioned “free of tanning chemicals, etc.” that’s not possible all leather is tanned using either chemicals or vegetable based tanning agents , so you would require veggie tanned leather.. otherwise th e will not become leather but remain cow skin and rot away in three weeks. I do know what you mean about Nylon and cheep plastic fasteners JUNK and I do understand how not only “dyed” leathers but also ” Latigos” used in tack for horses and dyed under pressure can still stain the coat when the leather gets wet…. do a google search for NAtural leather dog collars …
