Short Leashes? (Need to add 20 stupid characters)?

Just from my experience today walking all three of my dogs, having the long leashes wrapped around my hands it can be difficult to manage plus annoying. Is there such a thing as a short leash? I can’t see why not…as it would keep your dog by your side, and eliminate the hassle of having to hold the leashes when walking multiple dogs…

So has anyone seen a short leash? If so where can I buy them? I live in Canada by the way, but I am not against online shopping..so if the website ships to Canada or has leashes in Canadian currency that is good too.

Or any tips on walking multiple dogs? I have a coupler that I use sometimes for the two Labradors…but then there is the Basset that I sometimes take on the Flexi…but I am looking for shorter leashes for the Labs..

There are 4′ leads, and there are “traffic leads” which are very short (about a foot or two long), but the latter are not really practical when walking multiple dogs.

I would think using a coupler for the labs would be easier.

The main thing I’ve found useful is to teach the dogs NOT to cross behind me, and how to untangle their own feet from the leads. I also make them unwind themselves if they wrap around a post. I can manage three or even four leads pretty easily (only three if they’re Flexi Leads) but that’s with years of practice.
