How hard is an invisible Dog Fence to install?

Has anyone installed an invisible dog fence themselves and how hard is it to do? My Mom wants one installed but can’t afford to pay a professional to do it. She lives in the country and wants a large area covered.

Unless you want your dog to escape, dont do it. Dogs can be trained, however if they see something they want bad enough such as another animal, they will take the shock just to get it. Of course then, they usually will not come back in the yard. If you value your dog enough, then get a proper fence. I have heard of way too many dogs escaping, getting lost or getting killed from leaving underground fences.
