Herbs For Pets
Modern Medicine is’nt Working?
My China girl Pekingese has been on Prednisone and crate rest for a week now and no improvement,not even slight..I finally looked up a Holistic Vet in my area and have an appointmet tomorrow at 11am for a consultation and Acupunture/Chiropractic treatment and maybe some Chinese Herbs thrown in for good measure..
My question is..has anyone had these treatments for their pets and what results did you find with them?? and please say a prayer that my girl gets better..

I’m not a fan of chiropractic practices, but I am of acupuncture definitely. I know many people who have used a type of acupuncture called Gold Bead implants for epileptic dogs with major success. Also regular acupuncture works wonders for epileptic dogs too. Be back gotta do something,i’ll write more
add: I know someone who used Chinese medicine principles on her dog..her dog was either “hot” or “cold” and had foods and herbs better or worse to feed depending on whether the dog is hot or cold. The dog was a senior GSD with a history of ailments and by that time, the hot and cold really didn’t help long. I’m sure there’s more to it than just that but that’s all I know.
I understand you not wanting to use pred. and why. There should have been an improvement on pred. by a week, so I would take her off that. I’m not a vet of course!!! But to me, it’s suppressive and not helping and may hurt the liver and kidneys so I’d take her off that, and you know I like homeopathy…
If this Holistic Vet wants to use homeopathy, make sure she uses classical homeopathy -and never do one who wants to give multiple remedies at once.
