Do Guinea Pigs like being on harnesses?

I just got my first guinea pig, Edgar, about four days ago. I want to buy one of those vest’s with the leash on it so he can roam while were outside but I won’t have to worry about him running off. I know i need to wait till he trusts me, but i was wondering if they take to the vest okay?

No animal “like” being on a leash, just like how humans wouldn’t want to be tied in one. It’s advisable to simply let him roam in a room under your supervision.
