Ever accidentally run over a cat or dog with your vehicle?

How did you handle the situation?

I accidentally hit a dog once. It was just laying there, so I was gonna try and straddle it with my car, because I thought it was dead; but when I got right up on it, it started getting up! I went back to check and see if it was dead and it was…I was pretty upset about it, but I couldn’t have really helped it. If it would have been alive, I guess I would have tried to take it to the Vet if it wasn’t hurt too bad.
