How do I stretch a nylon football jersey?

I just got a football jersey in the mail, and it is made out of nylon and I was wondering how could I stretch it just like 2-3 inches if any.
I have a polyester football jersey not a nylon and I was wondering how do I stretch it out about 2-4 inches?

When it is wet, pull it over your car bucket seat or the back of a chair
