How do I remove pet fur in the laundry?
As an owner of a Golden Retriever and a long-haired cat, a lot of fine fur gets stuck to various clothing and throw blankets. It doesn’t come out in the laundry, especially on fleece items.
Is there anything that can be put in the washer or dryer to help “collect” the fur?
Removing the fur first is entirely too time consuming. The fur is EVERYWHERE!
I too have this problem. Use liquid fabric softener in the washer and toss a dryer sheet in when you dry them. This will eliminate a lot of the hair. For any strays, use 2″ masking tape and pull the rest from the clothes but turn them inside out before you do so you don’t damage the material.
