A teaspoon of white distilled vinegar for each quart bowl of drinking water helps keep your pet free of fleas and ticks. The ratio of one teaspoon to one quart is for a forty-pound animal.

Have you tried this and does it work?

I’ve heard of it. But I can’t speak as to whether it works or not.
People consume a lot more vinegar than your dog ever would at a table spoon per quart and we would still be bitten by ticks and fleas should we be exposed to them. We may not taste so good to the flea but I highly doubt it would stop them from tasting.
