Flashing Dog Collars
We bought a Wireless Fence for my Small Dog?
I have the collar turned down to #2 (2 light flashes) The box turned up to 8 for the extra large area coverage.
The collar keeps shocking my dog in the house. (the receiver is in the house)
She should have 180 ft range.
Have you heard of this? What is the cause?
Could another frequency be crossing mine?
I installed the fence. You just plug it in and dial the distance.
I did put it on my arm and let it get me so I could see if it was to much or to little.
I started on level 1 and felt nothing so I put it on level 2 and it is like a buzzer, surprising
but not painful
Now I need advice to go with my research.
I did remove her collar as soon as she hollered.
She was in my lap when it got her!
My research said it was safe for her BUT they want to sell the product. I need input from people who aren’t making money from it. Thanks for your input.
Could be rebound from the structures in the beam.Perimeter fences operate differently (Straight line beams are infrared & actually work very well) I’m not sure but check to see if your present system is ultra sound.if it is I would recommend returning as defective. There is probably a malfunction in the receiver collar not the signal unit.
