Looking for information on electronic / magnetic dog doors, which is better? What brands are best?

I’m looking to get an electronic or magnetic door mounted dog door for my medium to large sized dogs. I also have two cats so a door that only allows the dogs to go in and out makes sense. I was told by someone that bought an electronic dog door that the chip on the collar stops working when they get it wet (which my dogs would do continuously.) So I’ve been looking for a large magnetic door but I can only find them for cats. If anyone has any information on electronic / magnetic dog doors and which brands to look at I would appreciate it!
- One last note, I don’t want to spend over $200 for the door if possible, I know there are some crazy ones out there for $700 or more!

I had an electronic dog door once. It was the type where the dog wears a transmitter and the door opens when the dog is right next to it. There was one problem. The dog liked cool air but wanted to be in the house. She found a solution to this problem. She would sleep inside but close enough to the door that it would receive the signal to open. You can imagine the problems that caused, insects in the house in summer. Heat loss in winter.
