Electric fence energizer making a loud snap?
Does anyone have any ideas on why an electric fence energizer would be making a loud snap, instead of the usual soft clicking noise? I have a Gallagher FenceMaster. The fence still has power and is in good condition – not touching anything it shouldn’t be.
take a tamp spong (shut of the fence) clean the wire all the way around the fence you could have horse hair or spiderwebs in the fence line. also could be a small weed touching it you may not no about
also check you ground wire make sure its hooked right and make sure no wires are touching eachother and depending how old you fence is could be the problem as well!
