east lothian council, where are they.?

over the last 3 wks east lothian council have been posted missing . no updates on web site , no grit on footpaths and roads .small B roads closed and impassable .where has all our money gone ,where is all the forethought.has our money all been lost to foreign banks or are they just incompetent . for the last wk i have watched a gritter cart parked at the side of the A1 for hrs at a time . there are 3 collection depots within 4 miles of where i stay but they cannot manage a bin lift .there is also a grit quarrie within 8 miles yet they say that there is not enough. massive lies i think.
well said , fed up getting ripped of with this lot . if we leave our bin lid open it will not get lifted , do it a second time you will be fined. the litter wardens are still patroling edinburgh tho ,£60 fine if you drop litter but not a bin to put it in.

We in Glasgow have not had grit in our side roads and the main roads had a small amount but not enough.Its like ice road truckers here. The city centre pavements have not been done either. Bulk refuse uplift has not been for over a month, & bins overflowing as I write. We are paying for services we are not getting. Maybe they need to have yet another review . If they spent less time having reviews maybe they could get on with the work.
