How can I clean my dogs ear?
We tried cleaning his ear but it is difficult, and he may have a ear infection. He screams and constantly shakes his head. When we try putting ,dog ear cleaner, he instantly shakes his head and continues screaming. What should we do?
Pain around the ear area and shaking of the head are signs of an ear infection. Other signs include a bad odor and discharge from the ear. But, I would take him to the Vet to get a diagnosis and treatment. If it is an ear infection, it needs prompt attention. Cleaning the ears doesn’t cure an ear infection. It needs to be treated by a vet. Left untreated, an ear infection can cause severe ear problems.
