my dog is limping because he has this white dot on his foot?

why is my dog limping he has this like white like lumpy dot on one of his foot and we cant find one single Vet that’s close to us. what is it and what can we do.

just to let use know we do care about our dog.
The lump isn’t on his actual pad. It’s on the back of his joint where his leg and his thigh meet (Hope I made that clear). It’s like a wart with flaky skin. Oh and we found a vet and will try to take him there.

I would guess it is a grass seed. The white dot is the start of an infection, tip of the grass seed. It will continue to get infected.

It you are lucky enough before it has travelled too far you can look through the pad, underneath, between the toes and see the straw colored remains of the grass seed.

Nothing you can do if it is that because it has already travelled far enough to get through to the top. Don’t try to pull it backwards it has a barb like a fishing hook, you pull it backwards and it will all break apart anyway.

Take your dog to the vet, it will most likely need antibiotics. Sometimes the vet will lance it and take the seed out, most times the seed will work it’s way through anyway and all will heal.
