What is the best top spot and or dip flea treatment for dogs? Advantage, Front line, etc.?

My dogs have fleas and I am looking for the best treatment for right now and future. I plan on treating the dogs with either a top spot, drops behind the neck, or a dip. I also will be treating the house and yards on the same day. I am just looking for peoples opinion on different types of dips and top spot treatments. Thanks

Use the drops – Advantage or Frontline. They kill the fleas, and cause the eggs to fail. After a few weeks, there won’t be fleas in your house or yard. You won’t have to use nasty chemicals to control them.
The drops get into the dog’s system and make her blood poisonous. She becomes the insecticide. Any other external treatment – dips, etc – also get into her system when she breathes or licks, and they get all over your environment too. Avoid them.
I alternate Advantage & FrontLine year-round (I live in a warm climate) so the fleas don’t get tolerant and the dog doesn’t get over-sensitive. My Vet won’t prescribe Revolution because he’s had patients get heartworms even while using it (it’s promoted to prevent fleas and worms).
