From personal experience I have now had my puppy for 3 weeks. It was medically recommended that I get a dog because I have panic disorder and agoraphobia. Since getting her I have been leaving the house more, have new confidence to talk to people I don’t know, and am going into places I usually would avoid (eg. stores with bright florescent lights). My love life, yet, has not changed, but my overall life is definitely enriched because of my dog.
