Is dog worming treatment (heart worm & intestinal) from the supermarket as good as the Vet??

My last dog Jess, we had wormed at the vet. It cost a lot of money. (As vets do) Our new puppy is two months old and has not been treated yet. The supermarket worming treatments are at a fraction of the price.

THEY ARE CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is WHY they are so cheap!!! And you can’t get a Heartworm preventitive from anyone BUT the vet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
