Guinea Pig?

I’ve been trying to trim my guinea pigs nails lately but all i can trim is the right side… because she likes to hide her head in my left arm… how can i trim her other side? I cant flip her on her belly cause she squirms and kicks and gets out and i almost dropped her when i did that!! Is there like a technique or something that will help me trim her nails??!!

PS. i only have Dog Nail trimmers and human nail clippers but im afraid to use the normal ones so i use the dog ones and they’re sharp!! They work but should i get cat ones or something???

Another tactic is the put the piggie on the floor and plop a carrot or some other yummy treat in front of her. This will distract her while you gently pick up each foot and clip.

The large human toenail clippers work just fine for me.
