Do tapeworm segments appear in dog poop after treatment?

My dog was treated after finding rice like ‘things’ all over my bed. Could I be infected because of this? Do the segments come out in their poop after treatment?

Yes they will have to come out. But in order to get tapeworm you dog will probably have swallowed some fleas.

He will need to geet flea treatment and then another tapeworm treatment after three weeks.

They do look like grains of rice but they are not able to infect humans at that stage of their development.
