Dog Tag…what details should be listed on the tag….?

as some people say you shouldnt put the pets name and some say you should. Obviously i will put my phone number on there, but was wondering what other dog owners have on their pets tag?

I put the name because I feel if someone is calling the dog by its familiar name it eases stress the dog is feeling from being lost.

I think I get a better reaction when I call an owner give up the name they called him verses strays that I don’t know what they were called in their familiar territory.

Not having your name is not going to make it harder for someone to “steal” the dog. If they want it they take it.
