What are symptoms of a dog having parvo and heartworms? And how long will the dog live?
I am just wondering. I just got a dog and bought some heartworm meds and I am going to get a parvo shot. Just would like it if someone could answer my questions. Thanks a bunch! 
Heart Worms are a type of Tape Worm that is a serious and potentially fatal disease. This particular type of Tape Worm likes to live in the arteries of the lungs and the right side of the heart. Once the adult worms are grown they will produce their offspring which will circulate in the blood. The offspring however will not grow they are transmitted by mosquito and injected into another animal. After the adult worms have attached to the heart and pulmonary vessels they can grow up to 3 feet and do a substantial amount of damage to both the heart and lungs. IF YOUR DOG HAS HEART WORMS the symptoms may be, loss of appetite, lethargy, coughing, weakness, and hemorrhaging.
And Parvo is vital and serious condition as well. This type of virus likes to kill off the white blood cells while at the same time lining the wall of the intestines (and for lack of better words) tear them apart, while they are tearing apart the intestines, it will cause your dog to have bloody stools.The symptoms of Parvo are Lethargic, blood stools, diarrhea, dehydrated, low sugar levels,loss of appetite, and whimpering.
