Is it possible to teach your dog not to Spray?

I’m getting a male labrador retriever and my dad hates peeing so I was thinking should I just go with a female or is it possible to train your dog not to spray?

If you mean lift his leg, yes, it’s totally possible to housetrain a male dog. (Only cats spray.) It would be healthier for your dog to be neutered anyway, then you’d have less worries about him lifting his leg in the house if you don’t know how to housetrain a dog.
