Will eating rotten meat make a dog sick?
I had a ham bone with some meat left on it. I put it in the garbage. It was all slimy and moldy. My dog got into it. Will it make my dog sick, or worse, kill him?
A salty ham that isn’t rotten would make your dog sick, this will make him sicker. Hopefully, he didn’t eat the cooked bone – that’s another whole problem. If he gets really sick, phone your Vet for advice. Otherwise, fast him for 24 hours, then feed him boiled white rice with either chicken or LEAN hamburger – easy to digest. When he gets diarrhea, you can give him a tablespoon or 2 of plain canned pumpkin.
