What can i do to fix seat belts that Dog Chews?
I’ve got a little ‘lhasa poo cross bichon, cross shitsu, cross poodle, cross “nuts and never gettin out’…..
As soon as he sees another dog or someone close to the truck, he goes in the back of the truck and proceeds to go awol on the seat belts, just chews the beeejeebies out of them.
Is there just a thing as seat belt covers? or something?
this isnt about no chewy toys in the back, its about the dog having issues. LOL
i just bought this truck, its already depreciating thanks to the ‘exorcist”.

Since he’s a Small Dog you can probably fit an appropriate size crate in your truck, and should just crate him when you’re in the car. This will keep him safe, make it safer for you as the driver, and prevent him from chewing on random things. In many places it is actually illegal to not confine your dog within your vehicle.
You should also replace all of the chewed seat belts since they are no longer safe for your passengers to be using. If you ever got into an accident they could sue you for having unsafe seatbelts.
