What can i do to keep my dog safe and healthy?
We live near a forest and my dogs occasionally bring home wild game. Its getting colder and my dogs do havea Dog House but i want to protect them from the viruses that come with winter. What can i do?
As was said earlier, as long as your dogs shots are up to speed you should have no problems.
I lived is a forest and raised FCR`s that do upland and retrieving work, having them run through the woods was not much of a concern.
Although each one of them had a bright orange collar on so as to not be mistaken by some hunter for a deer. Colored vests will also work.
Get to know the wildlife in your area seeing how they are bringing home dead animals.
You wouldn`t want them coming face to face with a Cougar or an animal that they could get seriously hurt by.
