I have a 1 year old dog, a 7 month old cat, and I recently just got a 4 month old puppy.?

Th e dogs get along great, my older dog and the cat get along great too. but Im having a problem with the cat and the puppy getting along. any advice? Ive tried ttelling him no when he chases the cat, and showing him a toy, but its not working, any advice?

Most of it is the puppy in him. The cat runs and he thinks its a game. My puppies still occasionally do this with our youngest cat. My older cat just sits there and will stand his ground, the dogs in turn leave him alone. The younger one runs and that is fun to the pups. Use a spray bottle and spray the pup and say no or wrong, whichever you use. Also, try to catch it before your pup goes after the cat. It will take a while but they will find their medium.
