Why would my Husky hate to be inside?

When I was little we had an Alaskan Husky (dead now, at 14 years old). He was an absolutely lovely dog. Very obedient and friendly, but whenever we brought him inside, he just wanted to go out again. He’d run to the door and cry in front of it until we did. This started when he was a pup, as dad started to let him out into the garden to play there and he kind of settled down on the terrace. In the end we gave up, and only forced him to stay inside if it was very hot out (and even then we had to let him out at night, or he’d keep everyone up with his crying and howling, something he never did when outside). Everyone here talks about having outside dogs like it’s animal cruelty, so it made me curious about why this particular dog was like that. We’ve never had another dog like it either. The Husky I have now loves being outside too, no matter how cold or wet it is, but demands to be let in the second it gets dark and can be a real couch potato at times.

Huskies are bred to be an outside dog. They love to go outside expesially when there is snow out. They love to have somebody to play with.They hate to lay around and be lazy all day. Huskies are an Alaskan Pure Bred that means that they originated from Alaska where they are raised to be raced. The reason he was obedient is because his bred are used to be given commands and are very smart! To have lived for 14 years, he was a lucky dog!
