My dog play bites and I want to know how to get him to stop?

The dog is a possible Beagle Hound Mix and he is 7mo old 40lbs. He play bites when he get excited he will actually put your arm or hand in his mouth, its really soft but I would like to break him of it. Any help would be much appreciated

My dog used to do this when he was younger too. What our puppy school trainer said to do was when he does it, in a loud, high pitched voice say “ouch” or “ow” and turn away from him. What it is supposed to do is this: the high pitched “ouch” or “ow” sounds like a puppy yelp. When they yelp, their littermates know it hurts and they stop. Turning away from him will let him know that when he bites like that, the playtime ends. What we also did was when he began to bite, we would spray bitter apple on our hands so they would taste bad and he wouln’t want to do that anymore.
