What do you think about a pink collar for a dog?

Of course it’s a female dog, she’s a Golden Retriever/lab. Not a bright neon pink, not even a baby pink.. a darker raspberry pink. Do you think a pink collar is degrading for a dog?
My boyfriend objects to the idea is why I’m asking.

Put any color collar you like on her and she won’t mind at all.

I have a therapy dog that has more than a dozen pretty collars, we like to dress her up for her nursing home and hospice visits and the people we visit get a big kick out of her fancy collars.

If you dog has short hair and you can see her collars – go for it and buy her a nice one!
