Dog Piddle Pad

How many of you use the Purina Litter box potty training method?

I am thinking of changing my dogs over to this method after reading a question & answer pertaining to it.

How many of you use it & will continue to use it?? Because of a medical problem I cannot train them to go outside. I have 2 Maltese dogs. They are trained to the Piddle Pads now. I think the litter box would be better & cleaner. Can they be switched over?

I tried it and found it difficult. Layla didn’t even like being in it. The only thing she would do w/ it is try to eat it. It was just so much easier for me to train her to go outside rather than in the box.

When i was reading about how to litter train it did say that you could switch over…. just put the litter box in the same place that you put the piddle pads at & put the piddle pads on top of the litter… eventually you can remove the piddle pads…
