How soon after applying crabgrass killer can a pet dog walk on the lawn on which it is applied?

We just put the crabgrass killer on today. Our pet dog goes outside in our backyard repeatedly throughout the day to relieve herself. We’re afraid that she may get crabgrass killer on her paws & possibly ingest it if she licks her paws. Any suggestions, other than keep her off the lawn which will be near impossible. Thanks!
