Define “pet”. What is the difference between a working dog and a “pet”, aren’t they both dogs?
This is exactly the type of mentality that has caused such a schism in the dog world…my working dogs can be my “pets”, if I so chose to lower them to that status.

E collars as they are called, can be used on all dogs, regardless of their “status” to train them effectively. Contrary to the opinion of the “experts” in here, there is NOTHING more humane or effective in the right hands then an E collar and many humane societies are now using them on dogs that need better training.
Educate yourself on their correct use from those that have been using them for 30 years, not the bunny hugging, panty waisted types and learn how effective they can be. Hope I helped.
