Dog Health Symptoms

dog health symptoms
COULD THERE BE A HEALTH ISSUE WITH A DOG THAT DRINKS ALOT OF WATER?

SHE IS A 6 MONTH OLD BLOODHOUND THAT IS IN GOOD HEALTH AND THERE ARE NO OTHER SYMPTOMS.

Diabetes is a possibility, also sometimes dogs get a tumor on the thyroid, this condition is called Cushing’s Disease. Excessive thirst as well as weight gain are the usual symptoms; however this is usually seen in older dogs. Could be she’s just playing hard and drinking more.
Also this time of year we are turning our heaters on and heated air can dry her nose & throat just as it does yours.
I’d suggest asking your Vet at your next visit.
