My one year old dog has green stuff coming out of her vagina?
She has never been in heat before and she is really swollen “back there” is it serious?

I looked “In there” To see if it had gotten any worse. And it’s very sticky and it looked almost like marshmallow whip. Is she going to die if she doesn’t get help?
My mother’s dog had the same thing. It is the uterine infection that Julie D said it is. It can kill your baby if you don’t get it taken care of. If you can’t afford a Vet bill, go to a feed store and tell them how much your dog weighs and ask for penicillin. Tell them what she has. Most feed stores that carry penicillin are knowledgeable about the dosages for dog sizes.
If she is not fixed and has never been in heat, you need to take her to the vet anyway. Females go through their first heat around 6 months old and again every 5-6 months after that. The infection could end up requiring a hysterectomy.
