My dog is still scratch after 24 hours of using Frontline Plus?

a little over 24hrs ago i applied the frontline on my dog, and she still seems to be scratching.. she also has a skin irratation to the fleas, and is highly allergic to some foods… could it be itchy from the skin irratation or has the frontline not fully taken effect??

Hi! Ive been a dog groomer for 15yrs. and I think I can help you. You are alway supposed to bath the dog first to get the fleas off. Use a good flea shampoo that will kill them. Then you want to put the frontline on afterwards. If your dog is infested with fleas, the frontline will not work properly. Your dogs flea allergies might actually get worse because the frontline was put on with flea infestation. Hope this helps!!
