How long does Dog Food stay fresh?
I threw the bag away to put it into a storage container, which was no problem before because my dogs ate through it quickly, but after my Rottie passed food consumption dropped considerably so I’m not sure if what is left is any good.
The length of time dry dog food will stay fresh after opening is a maximum of 6 weeks, depending on the brand and the way it is stored after opening. Dry food should be stored at less than 70 degrees F, and at less than 15% humidity. ChaCha on! wet food will only last 1 and a half days to be honest *especially in summer* hope i helped
