Dog needs new flea treatment and a groom, which first?

Hey, my dog needs his next month of flea treatment. He is also due for a groom. Is it better to hold of on the flea treatment until after the grooming or get the grooming first? He is a mini schnauzer that we keep sorta low for the summer. I don’t to apply the Frontline and then it all get cut or washd off. On the flip side, I hate to get him groomed and then have the flea treatment iritate his skin or something.

Groom him first and then give him the treatment 2 days later.
