What is the safest way to flea my dog without going to the vets?

I also have a cat that needs to be flead,
I object to paying huge amounts to vets nowadays, years ago what ever to gave a child you could give to a cat/dog (obviously not flea treatment for children) but since the change in the law it is much to expensive. please help.

Try frontline – you can buy it online for dogs and cats, it’s for prevention as well as cure. You can find instructions ( basically you just put the liquid spot on, onto the back of the animal’s neck, but the website gives more information) buy from their website ( online it’s cheaper) and the website tells you how much depending on your dog. You could use a flea comb but in my experience this takes a long time, it only cures ( doesn’t prevent the fleas from coming back), and well my cat doesn’t like me sitting their brushing her for God knows how long. Go with frontline it works and it keeps the pests away.
