Dog Flea Treatment Frontline

flea treatment and petco?

i tried the topical flea treatment Frontline Plus for my bulldog mix but it doesn’t work at all. tried advantix (sp) and it made my dog puke. i saw online about a flea pill called capstar? does this work? i need a non topical flea treatment for my dog.

and is it good to go to petco for cheap puppy shots? and is it really cheaper? i heard they do more harm ten good?

where can you go for lower cost puppy shots?

Capstar does work however it only lasts for 24 hr so too expensive to use daily. There are other pills that last monthly like Comfortis that you get from the Vet if you want to try pills instead.

I haven’t taken my dogs to the clinics at Petco but know plenty of people who have & had no problems. It isn’t a vet visit so no Wellness check but the vaccinations only. It is less than my vet which is why i was looking into it. Here is the site for the Company who runs the clinics so you can check for yourself.

If money is an issue & your dog is healthy & not elderly, I would go there. Better to have the shots than not.
