If you have a treadmill train him to walk on it. Trust me – that will work. If not, stimulating games depending on your dog’s breed. One thing would be hiding things and then having your dog sniff them out. Just remember play time is not exercise and will only create excitement, which usually leads to a crazy acting dog. And lack of exercise will create a frustrated dog that will likely become destructive. Even in the cold you will have to walk your dog at times because there really is no substitute for a good walk.
