Dog Ear Infection?

I have taken my dog to the Vet and gotten some medicine for her ear but are there any other home remedies I can use to treat her ear infection?

People will swear by alcohol, olive oil, vinegar, and a million other things- it’s BS!!

Ear infections are caused by yeast or ear mites, the vet will have figured out which one caused your dog’s infection and gave you medicine that kills whatever it is. You should also have gotten ear wash for the dog, if you haven’t, go to a pet store or back to the vet and purchase ear wash. Flush the dog’s ears out thoroughly and wipe them out with a cotton ball until they are clean and dry, and then apply the medication your vet gave you. Do not do ANYTHING else no matter what anyone says! You’ll only make it worse.

And never, EVER put water anywhere NEAR a dog’s ear- that is the number one cause of ear infections to start with!!
