i dont know anyone who does here..why crate a dog i,ve never needed to put mine in a cage..please explain why you do if you do.thanks.

You’re right… not many people crate train in the UK. Crate training has its advantages… it’s safe and comfortable for the dog… they are naturally animals who like to be in a den.. crate is perfect for that. Crates are excellent tools for potty training. They are great to keep the dog safe and sound while you are gone.. not to mention give you piece of mind that your house won’t be torn up when you get home. They keep puppies from getting into things.. they keep the dog from running off when you need to prop the door open to bring in groceries…. the list goes on.
