What is the best Electric collar to use so my dog will stay in the yard?

What are some of the e collars you have used with your dog that work the best?
Plus in my city corner houses are not allowed to have fences and we live by a main road and i don’t want my dog get hit by a car.

It’s more than just the collar. They all suck if the dog isn’t properly trained to the boundary. There is a reason the “Invisible Fence” brand is so expensive. They spend days with you and your Dog Training your dog to the boundary with visual markers and auditory cues. Their collars are extremely sophisticated and can be clipped to a machine that adjust the amplitude, frequency and pulse width of the correction and they can tell how many times your animal has tested the fence. They train the dog to NOT get stimulated. If you put up any kind of system that requires the dog to figure out the boundaries on it’s own, it’s nothing more than abusive punishment. So if you are purchasing an electric fence, either go with the pro’s or hire a good trainer to make sure you do it right.
